19 The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

3 Ezért dicsõítnek téged erõs népek, erõszakos pogányok városai félnek téged!
4 Mert erõssége voltál a gyöngének, erõssége a szegénynek szorongásában; a szélvész ellen oltalom, árnyék a hévség ellen, mikor az erõszakosok haragja olyan volt, mint kõfalrontó szélvész.

5 Amikor jelentették Egyiptom királyának, hogy elmenekült a nép, megváltozott a fáraónak és szolgáinak indulata a nép iránt, és ezt mondták: Mit tettünk?! Elbocsátottuk Izráelt a szolgálatunkból!
8 ...és az üldözőbe vette Izráel fiait,
10 A fáraó közeledett. Izráel fiai pedig föltekintettek, és látták, hogy az egyiptomiak utánuk eredtek. Ekkor nagy félelem fogta el őket, és segítségért kiáltottak Izráel fiai az Úrhoz.
13 De Mózes így felelt a népnek: Ne féljetek! Álljatok helyt, és meglátjátok, hogyan szabadít meg ma az Úr benneteket! Mert ahogyan ma látjátok az egyiptomiakat, úgy soha többé nem fogjátok látni őket.
21 Mózes kinyújtotta kezét a tenger felé, az Úr pedig egész éjjel visszafelé hajtotta a tengert erős keleti széllel, és szárazzá tette a tengert, úgyhogy a víz kettévált.
22 Izráel fiai szárazon mentek be a tenger közepébe, és a víz jobbról-balról falként állt.
23 Az egyiptomiak üldözőbe vették őket, és bement utánuk a tenger közepébe a fáraó összes lova, harci kocsija és lovasa is.
26 Az Úr pedig ezt mondta Mózesnek: Nyújtsd ki kezedet a tenger felé, és a víz visszatér az egyiptomiakra, a harci kocsikra és lovasokra.
27 Mózes kinyújtotta a kezét a tenger felé, és a tenger visszatért reggelre a medrébe egyenest a menekülő egyiptomiakra. Így hajtotta bele az Úr az egyiptomiakat a tenger közepébe.
30 Így szabadította meg az Úr azon a napon Izráelt Egyiptom hatalmából. És látta Izráel az egyiptomiakat holtan a tenger partján.
31 Amikor látta Izráel, hogy milyen nagy hatalommal bánt el az Úr Egyiptommal, félni kezdte a nép az Urat. Hitt az Úrnak és szolgájának, Mózesnek.
5 And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?
8 …and he pursued after the children of Israel:
10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the Lord.
13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
26 And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.
27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
30 Thus the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.
31 And Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord, and his servant Moses.

23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
24 These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
28 …they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
18 Látván pedig Jézus a nagy sokaságot maga körül, parancsolá, hogy menjenek a túlsó partra.

18 Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.
24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
1 Ímé, igazság szerint uralkodik a király, és a fejedelmek fõk lesznek az ítélettételben;
2 Olyan lesz mindegyik, mint a rejtek szél ellen, mint oltalom zivatar ellen, mint patakok száraz vidéken, mint nagy kõszál árnyéka a szomjúhozó földön.
3 És nem lesznek zárva többé a látóknak szemei, és a hallók fülei figyelmeznek;
1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
5 Isten az õ szavával csudálatosan mennydörög, és nagy dolgokat cselekszik,
6 Mert azt mondja a hónak: Essél le a földre! És a zápor-esõnek és a zuhogó zápornak: [Szakadjatok].
10 Isten lehellete által támad a jég, és szorul össze a víznek szélessége.
11 Majd nedvességgel öntözi meg a felleget, s áttöri a borulatot az õ villáma.
12 És az köröskörül forog az õ vezetése alatt, hogy mindazt megtegyék, amit parancsol nékik, a föld kerekségének színén.
14 Vedd ezt füledbe ... állj meg és gondold meg az Istennek csudáit.
5 God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he,
6 For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
10 By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
11 Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
12 And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
14 Hearken unto this, … stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
13 Mert ímé, aki hegyeket alkotott és a szelet teremtette, és aki megjelenti az embernek az õ gondolatját, aki a hajnalt sötétséggé változtatja és a föld magaslatain lépdel: az Úr õ, a Seregeknek Istene az õ neve.
13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The Lord, The God of hosts, is his name.
Teremtő. Szellem; Elme; intelligencia; a megelevenítő isteni Alapelve mindennek, ami valós és jó; önmagától létező Élet, Igazság és Szeretet; az, ami tökéletes és örök; az anyag és gonosz ellentéte, melyeknek nincs Alapelve; Isten, aki mindent alkotott, ami alkotva lett, és aki nem alkothatott egy atomot vagy elemet sem, mely Önmagával ellentétes lenne.
Creator. Spirit; Mind; intelligence; the animating divine Principle of all that is real and good; self-existent Life, Truth, and Love; that which is perfect and eternal; the opposite of matter and evil, which have no Principle; God, who made all that was made and could not create an atom or an element the opposite of Himself.
Hogy felfogd a létezés valóságát és rendjét annak Tudományában, abból kell kiindulnod, hogy Istent minden valósan létező isteni Alapelvének tekinted. Szellem, Élet, Igazság, Szeretet egyként léteznek - és Isten Szentírásbeli nevei. Minden szubsztancia, intelligencia, bölcsesség, létezés, halhatatlanság, ok és okozat Istenhez tartozik. Ezek az Ő jellemzői, a végtelen, isteni Alapelv, Szeretet örök megtestesülései. Semmilyen bölcsesség nem bölcs, csak az Ő bölcsessége; semmilyen igazság nem igaz, semmilyen szeretet nem szeretetteli, semmilyen élet nem Élet, csak az isteni; semmilyen jó nincs, csak amelyet Isten ad.

To grasp the reality and order of being in its Science, you must begin by reckoning God as the divine Principle of all that really is. Spirit, Life, Truth, Love, combine as one, — and are the Scriptural names for God. All substance, intelligence, wisdom, being, immortality, cause, and effect belong to God. These are His attributes, the eternal manifestations of the infinite divine Principle, Love. No wisdom is wise but His wisdom; no truth is true, no love is lovely, no life is Life but the divine; no good is, but the good God bestows.
Divine metaphysics, as revealed to spiritual understanding, shows clearly that all is Mind, and that Mind is God, omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience, — that is, all power, all presence, all Science. Hence all is in reality the manifestation of Mind.

Mind, supreme over all its formations and governing them all, is the central sun of its own systems of ideas, the life and light of all its own vast creation; and man is tributary to divine Mind.
The world would collapse without Mind, without the intelligence which holds the winds in its grasp.
Szél. Az, ami a mindenhatóság hatalmát és Isten minden dolgot felölelő szellemi kormányzatának mozgásait jelzi. Pusztítás; harag; halandó szenvedélyek.
Wind. That which indicates the might of omnipotence and the movements of God's spiritual government, encompassing all things. Destruction; anger; mortal passions.
Az erkölcsi és lelki hatalom a Szellemé, aki a „szelet az ő markában” tartja; és ez a tanítás megegyezik a Tudománnyal és harmóniával. A Tudományban nem lehet Istennel ellentétes hatalmad, és a fizikai érzékeknek fel kell adniuk hamis bizonyságtételüket. Moral and spiritual might belong to Spirit, who holds the "wind in His fists;" and this teaching accords with Science and harmony. In Science, you can have no power opposed to God, and the physical senses must give up their false testimony. Your influence for good depends upon the weight you throw into the right scale. The good you do and embody gives you the only power obtainable. Evil is not power. It is a mockery of strength, which erelong betrays its weakness and falls, never to rise.
Erring power is a material belief, a blind miscalled force, the offspring of will and not of wisdom, of the mortal mind and not of the immortal. It is the headlong cataract, the devouring flame, the tempest's breath. It is lightning and hurricane, all that is selfish, wicked, dishonest, and impure.
A halandó elmében nincs üres dühöngés - mely földrengésben, szélben, hullámverésben, villámlásban, tűzvészben, állati vadságban jut kifejezésre - és ez az úgynevezett elme önmagát pusztítja el. There is no vapid fury of mortal mind — expressed in earthquake, wind, wave, lightning, fire, bestial ferocity — and this so-called mind is self-destroyed. The manifestations of evil, which counterfeit divine justice, are called in the Scriptures, "The anger of the Lord." In reality, they show the self-destruction of error or matter and point to matter's opposite, the strength and permanency of Spirit. Christian Science brings to light Truth and its supremacy, universal harmony, the entireness of God, good, and the nothingness of evil.

…the more closely error simulates truth and so-called matter resembles its essence, mortal mind, the more impotent error becomes as a belief. According to human belief, the lightning is fierce and the electric current swift, yet in Christian Science the flight of one and the blow of the other will become harmless. The more destructive matter becomes, the more its nothingness will appear, until matter reaches its mortal zenith in illusion and forever disappears.
Az Igazság mindent lehetővé tesz a Szellem számára; de az anyag úgynevezett törvényei a Szellemet haszontalannak értelmeznék, és az anyagias rendszabályoknak követelnek engedelmességet, így eltérve az egy Isten - egy törvényhozó alapvetésétől. Truth makes all things possible to Spirit; but the so-called laws of matter would render Spirit of no avail, and demand obedience to materialistic codes, thus departing from the basis of one God, one lawmaker. To suppose that God constitutes laws of inharmony is a mistake; discords have no support from nature or divine law, however much is said to the contrary.
Az igazi Logosz kimutathatóan a Krisztusi Tudomány, a harmónia természetes törvénye, amely legyőzi a diszharmóniát - nem azért, mert ez a Tudomány természetfeletti vagy természetellenes, sem nem azért, mert az isteni törvény megsértése, hanem azért, mert Isten, a jó változtathatatlan törvénye. The true Logos is demonstrably Christian Science, the natural law of harmony which overcomes discord, — not because this Science is supernatural or preternatural, nor because it is an infraction of divine law, but because it is the immutable law of God, good. Jesus … stilled the tempest, healed the sick, walked on the water. There is divine authority for believing in the superiority of spiritual power over material resistance.
A miracle fulfils God's law, but does not violate that law. This fact at present seems more mysterious than the miracle itself. The Psalmist sang: "What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? Thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams, and ye little hills, like lambs? Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob." The miracle introduces no disorder, but unfolds the primal order, establishing the Science of God's unchangeable law.
A természet természetes, lelki törvényt és isteni Szeretetet hirdet, de az emberi hiedelem félreértelmezi a természetet. A sarkvidékek, a napsütötte trópusok, a hegyóriások, a szárnyaló szelek, a hatalmas hullámok, zöldellő völgyek, pompás virágok és dicsőséges egek - mind az Elmére mutatnak, a lelki intelligenciára, melyet tükröznek. Nature voices natural, spiritual law and divine Love, but human belief misinterprets nature. Arctic regions, sunny tropics, giant hills, winged winds, mighty billows, verdant vales, festive flowers, and glorious heavens, — all point to Mind, the spiritual intelligence they reflect. The floral apostles are hieroglyphs of Deity. Suns and planets teach grand lessons. The stars make night beautiful, and the leaflet turns naturally towards the light.
Az Elme a nagyszerű teremtő, és nem létezhet erő, hacsak nem az Elméből fakad. Ha az Elme időrendiségben az első volt, potenciálisan is az első, és örökké elsőnek kell lennie, akkor add meg az Elme számára a dicsőséget, tiszteletet, uralmat és hatalmat, mely örökkön örökké megilleti szent nevét.
Mind is the grand creator, and there can be no power except that which is derived from Mind. If Mind was first chronologically, is first potentially, and must be first eternally, then give to Mind the glory, honor, dominion, and power everlastingly due its holy name.
