1. Ha engedelmesen hallgatsz az Úrnak, Istenednek a szavára, ha megtartod és teljesíted mindazokat a parancsolatokat,
2. Rád szállnak mindezek az áldások, és kísérnek téged, ha hallgatsz az Úrnak, Istenednek a szavára.
3. Áldott leszel a városban, és áldott leszel a mezőn.
4. Áldott lesz méhed gyümölcse, termőfölded gyümölcse és állataid ivadéka, teheneid ellése és juhaid szaporulata.
5. Áldott [lesz] a te kosarad és a te sütõ tekenõd.
6. Áldott leszel bejöttödben, és áldott leszel kimentedben.

1. And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments:

2 Mint a szarvas kívánkozik a folyóvizekre, úgy kívánkozik az én lelkem hozzád, oh Isten!
3 Szomjúhozik lelkem Istenhez, az élő Istenhez;
4 Könnyem lett a kenyerem éjjel és nappal, mert egész nap ezt mondogatják nekem: Hol van a te Istened?
9 Nappal kiküldte kegyelmét az Úr, éjjel éneke volt velem, imádság az én életem Istenéhez.
12 Miért csüggedsz el lelkem, és miért nyughatatlankodol bennem? Bízzál Istenben, mert még hálát adok én néki, az én szabadítómnak és Istenemnek.
1 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

8 Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

1 Két esztendő múlva történt, hogy a fáraó álmodott:
9 Szóla azért a fõpohárnok a Faraónak, mondván:
12 ...[vala] velünk ott egy héber ifjú, ... és õ megfejté nékünk a mi álmainkat;
14 Akkor a fáraó hívatta Józsefet, és sietve kihozták a tömlöcből.
15 A fáraó ezt mondta Józsefnek: Álmot álmodtam, de senki sem tudja megfejteni. Rólad azt hallottam, hogy ha meghallod az álmot, meg tudod fejteni.
16 József így felelt a fáraónak: Nem én, hanem Isten ad választ a fáraó javára.
25 És monda József a Faraónak: A Faraó álma egy és ugyanaz; a mit Isten cselekedni akar, azt jelentette meg a Faraónak.
37 Tetszett ez a beszéd a fáraónak és minden szolgájának.
38 A fáraó ezt mondta szolgáinak: Találhatunk-e ehhez hasonló embert, akiben isteni lélek van?
39 Józsefnek pedig ezt mondta a fáraó: Miután Isten mindezt neked adta tudtul, nincs hozzád hasonló értelmes és bölcs ember.
40 Te leszel házam gondviselője, és egész népem a te szavadnak engedelmeskedik.
1 And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed:
9 Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying,
12 … there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, … and he interpreted to us our dreams;
14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon:
15 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.
16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
25 And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.

10 Ne félj, mert én veled vagyok, ne csüggedj, mert én vagyok Istened! Megerősítlek, meg is segítlek, sőt győzelmes jobbommal támogatlak.
13 Mivel én vagyok Urad, Istened, aki jobbkezedet fogom, és aki ezt mondom néked: Ne félj, én megsegítelek!

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

6 Mert az Isten, aki szólt: setétségbõl világosság ragyogjon, õ gyújtott világosságot a mi szívünkben az Isten dicsõsége ismeretének a Jézus Krisztus arczán való világoltatása végett.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Élet, Igazság és Szeretet mindenhatók és örökké jelenlévők;
Life, Truth, and Love are all-powerful and ever-present;
Amikor az embert Isten, az örökké jelenlévő Elme, kormányozza, aki minden dolgot megért, az ember tudja, hogy Istennel minden lehetséges. Az egyetlen út ehhez az élő Igazsághoz, amely meggyógyítja a beteget, az isteni Elme Tudományában található, ahogyan azt Krisztus Jézus demonstrálta.
When man is governed by God, the ever-present Mind who understands all things, man knows that with God all things are possible. The only way to this living Truth, which heals the sick, is found in the Science of divine Mind as taught and demonstrated by Christ Jesus.
Kérdés. — Hogyan haladhatok a leggyorsabban a Krisztusi Tudomány megértésében?
Válasz. — Tanuld alaposan annak betűjét, és szívd magadba annak szellemét. Tartsd be a Krisztusi Tudomány isteni Alapelvét, és kövesd Isten rendeléseit, kitartóan a bölcsességben, Igazságban és Szeretetben lakozva. Az Elme Tudományában nemsokára megerősítést kapsz arról, hogy a tévedés nem tudja a tévedést eltörölni. Azt is megtanulod majd, hogy a Tudományban nincs gonosz sugalmak átvitele az egyik halandótól a másikhoz, mivel csak egy Elme van, és ez az örökké jelenlévő, mindenható Elme tükröződik az ember által és kormányozza az egész világmindenséget. Question. — How can I progress most rapidly in the understanding of Christian Science?
Answer. — Study thoroughly the letter and imbibe the spirit. Adhere to the divine Principle of Christian Science and follow the behests of God, abiding steadfastly in wisdom, Truth, and Love. In the Science of Mind, you will soon ascertain that error cannot destroy error. You will also learn that in Science there is no transfer of evil suggestions from one mortal to another, for there is but one Mind, and this ever-present omnipotent Mind is reflected by man and governs the entire universe. You will learn that in Christian Science the first duty is to obey God, to have one Mind, and to love another as yourself.
We all must learn that Life is God. Ask yourself: Am I living the life that approaches the supreme good? Am I demonstrating the healing power of Truth and Love? If so, then the way will grow brighter "unto the perfect day." Your fruits will prove what the understanding of God brings to man.
A bűn felett állónak tekinteni magad, mert Isten afelett állónak teremtett és Ő kormányozza az embert, igazi bölcsesség. A bűntől félni azt jelenti, hogy félreértjük a Szeretet erejét és a létezés isteni Tudományát az ember Istenhez való viszonyában - hogy kételkedünk az Ő kormányzásában és nem bízunk az Ő mindenható gondoskodásában. A betegség és halál felett állónak tekinteni magad ugyanilyen bölcs, és az isteni Tudománnyal összhangban van. Lehetetlen félni tőlük, amikor teljesen megérted Istent, és tudod, hogy azok nem részei az Ő teremtésének.

To hold yourself superior to sin, because God made you superior to it and governs man, is true wisdom. To fear sin is to misunderstand the power of Love and the divine Science of being in man's relation to God, — to doubt His government and distrust His omnipotent care. To hold yourself superior to sickness and death is equally wise, and is in accordance with divine Science. To fear them is impossible, when you fully apprehend God and know that they are no part of His creation.
Unless an ill is rightly met and fairly overcome by Truth, the ill is never conquered. … If God heals not the sick, they are not healed, for no lesser power equals the infinite All-power; but God, Truth, Life, Love, does heal the sick through the prayer of the righteous.
Mik az imádság indítóokai? Azért imádkozzunk, hogy saját magunkat jobbá tegyük vagy hogy azoknak javára váljék, akik minket hallanak, hogy felvilágosítsuk a végtelent vagy hogy emberek halljanak? What are the motives for prayer? Do we pray to make ourselves better or to benefit those who hear us, to enlighten the infinite or to be heard of men? Are we benefited by praying? Yes, the desire which goes forth hungering after righteousness is blessed of our Father, and it does not return unto us void.
Ha nem sóvárgunk titokban és nem törekszünk nyíltan minden kérésünk teljesülésére, imáink „hiábavaló ismétlések”, melyeket a pogányok használnak. Ha könyörgéseink őszinték, akkor munkálkodunk azért, amit kérünk; és Atyánk, aki titokban is lát, nyíltan megjutalmaz majd bennünket. Felemelheti-e vágyainkat azok puszta nyilvános kifejezése? If we are not secretly yearning and openly striving for the accomplishment of all we ask, our prayers are "vain repetitions," such as the heathen use. If our petitions are sincere, we labor for what we ask; and our Father, who seeth in secret, will reward us openly. Can the mere public expression of our desires increase them? Do we gain the omnipotent ear sooner by words than by thoughts? Even if prayer is sincere, God knows our need before we tell Him or our fellow-beings about it. If we cherish the desire honestly and silently and humbly, God will bless it, and we shall incur less risk of overwhelming our real wishes with a torrent of words.
A Krisztusi Tudomány hatásai nem annyira láthatók, mint inkább érezhetők. Ez az Igazság „halk és szelíd hang”-ja, amely hallatja magát. Vagy elfordulunk ettől a hangtól, vagy hallgatunk rá, és feljebb emelkedünk.
The effects of Christian Science are not so much seen as felt. It is the "still, small voice" of Truth uttering itself. We are either turning away from this utterance, or we are listening to it and going up higher.

Unless the harmony and immortality of man are becoming more apparent, we are not gaining the true idea of God; and the body will reflect what governs it, whether it be Truth or error, understanding or belief, Spirit or matter. Therefore "acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace." Be watchful, sober, and vigilant. The way is straight and narrow, which leads to the understanding that God is the only Life. It is a warfare with the flesh, in which we must conquer sin, sickness, and death, either here or hereafter, — certainly before we can reach the goal of Spirit, or life in God.

The purpose and motive to live aright can be gained now. This point won, you have started as you should. You have begun at the numeration-table of Christian Science, and nothing but wrong intention can hinder your advancement. Working and praying with true motives, your Father will open the way. "Who did hinder you, that ye should not obey the truth?"

As mortals give up the delusion that there is more than one Mind, more than one God, man in God's likeness will appear, and this eternal man will include in that likeness no material element.
As a material, theoretical life-basis is found to be a misapprehension of existence, the spiritual and divine Principle of man dawns upon human thought, and leads it to "where the young child was," — even to the birth of a new-old idea, to the spiritual sense of being and of what Life includes. Thus the whole earth will be transformed by Truth on its pinions of light, chasing away the darkness of error.
The human thought must free itself from self-imposed materiality and bondage.
Az isteni Alapelv és idea lelki harmóniát képeznek — mennyországot és örökkévalóságot. Az Igazság univerzumában az anyag ismeretlen. A tévedés egyetlen feltételezése sem jut be oda. The divine Principle and idea constitute spiritual harmony, — heaven and eternity. In the universe of Truth, matter is unknown. No supposition of error enters there. Divine Science, the Word of God, saith to the darkness upon the face of error, "God is All-in-all," and the light of ever-present Love illumines the universe. Hence the eternal wonder, — that infinite space is peopled with God's ideas, reflecting Him in countless spiritual forms.
